Louise Norman Hansen extends with VIRTU Cycling Women

Team VIRTU Cycling Women and Louise Norman Hansen have extended the contract, which now lasts until the end of 2019. The 23 year-old Dane has been with the team since she first became professional in 2016.

Louise Norman says:

”I’m really happy about being with the team and I truly feel at home here and I know I can grow and get stronger here before the coming season. There’s a lot of things to be learned and thankfully, there’s a lot of experienced people in and around the team to support me. There’s a great structure around the riders and I’m ready to step and take home better results and support my teammates.”

Sports director, Carmen Small says:

”Louise is still in a development phase of her career and we want to continue to support her to achieve her goals and keep improving in all aspects of cycling.  Also she is a quiet personality, she is a fierce competitor and hungry to get better and better on the bike.  This is a Danish team so it’s important that we keep investing in the future of Danish cycling and helping develop the athletes who will represent the country in World Championships and Olympics in the years to come”.
