Trine Schmidt 6th at the world championship points race

Team VIRTU Cycling’s Trine Schmidt gave a show of her skills at the world championship in points race and finished in 6th plae. Kasia Pawlowska also raced and ended in 18th place.

On the last day of the world track championship in Apeldoorn both Trine Schmidt and Kasia Pawlowska was in action in the women’s points race. Trine Schmidt entered the race as defending european champion, but the 29-year-old Dane didn’t get to bring the rainbow stribes home Sunday.

The Dane fought hard in the race and gaing a lap with some other riders. It took her to 6th place with 22 points. The winner Kirsten Vild was the strongest of them all and the dutch rider took a great victory. Kasia Pawlowska also fought bravely, but she had to settle for 18th.
