Johan Tiedemann Langballe

Even though Johan Tiedemann Langballe is the youngest rider on Team VIRTU Cycling in 2018, he is by no means a novice in cycling. The 18-year-old Dane jumped on the bike for the first time in his local club when a foot injurie forced him out of football and handball for a while. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Johan Tiedemann Langballe did not only find cycling fun, he also found out that he was quite good at it. As a junior, he was a part of Herning Cycling Clubs junior team where he won multiple international junior UCI-victories among others Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne where he took advantage of his strong sprint to cross the finish line first.

The young rider is set to try on his first season on a senior level and even though it´s going to be tough, Johan Tiedemann Langballe is ready have a go. For him the bike means freedom when he heads out on the country roads to train. Here, everything is more uncontrolled and hard work pays off and the young rider is planning to work extremely hard in 2018.

”I like to go really fast, and if I want to do that, I have to train. I also really like to win, and that only comes if I put enough effort into my training.”
